Google Now Offering Analytics Premium

Google is looking to garner a large chunk of the premium web analytics market and is now offering a paid version of Google Anayltics. I'm sure WebTrends and Ominture are shaking in their boots, as well they should. WebTrends and Ominture have a well established base of clients, but Googles free version of Analytics had been around for many years. Most anyone in the field of web development knew this day would come.

The new paid version is geared towards enterprise users with a cost of $150k a year. If you're looking for a more robust Analytics solution and $150k a year is out of your reach then give Urchin a try.

Google Analytics Premium features include:

  • Downloaded-able data.
  • 24 hour technical support.
  • Lifted data limits so now you can track billions of hits per month.
  • 50 custom variables.
  • Account manager who will provide custom training and come into your location or do so via webinar.
  • Google will migrate your existing third party data over to Analytics premium.
  • 24/7 emergency support line.
  • You own all of your data.
  • 99% uptime guarantee.
