Art Basel Miami Beach 2011

Art Basel returns just in time for the Christmas buying season. Its the perfect time to get a good deal on some wonderful art. The event will be taking place in Miami Beach on the dates of Dec. 1-4, 2011. This international art show draws art connoisseurs from all over the world into the South Florida area. It’s the 10th edition and for four days will feature works from over 2000 internationally recognized artists.

There are many Art Basel firsts taking place this year. For the 10th anniversary, Art Basel Miami Beach will work with the Bass Museum of Art to take over Collins park and showcase live performances. Also for the first time the new outdoor projector which is located on a wall that faces SoundScape Park at the New World Center will be utilized to show-off artist videos.

Ticket Pricing

A four day pass is going for $85, a one-day ticket is $40, and an evening ticket is $28 (valid after 4pm).Also there is a reduced one-day ticket availalbe to seniors above 62, students with proper ID and groups of ten or larger that are priced at $23.
